Contest: design Feral's side kick.
Feral still needs to find a silly side kick!!! And seeing as nobody is interested, I have decided to organize a contest!

Objective: Design a character that can be Feral's side kick/friend. This can be any animal, though nothing too big! For those of you who don't know, Feral is a stray cat. I hope to have the first comic done soon. Click the title (Feral's comic) for more info!

Rules:
Has to be an animal.
Will need a personality description of some sort (minimum length of 25 words, though at least 50 is preferred). This doesn't have to be a story, just listing some characteristics is fine too.
You can enter with a drawing + desciption or by text only (e.g. an introduction story or whatever)
You can enter a maximum of 2 entries, but you can only win 1 price.
It is okay to enter you own existing original character, however the entry needs to be new art!
Want to enter, but you draw Anthro and not 4 legged creatures? Feel free to enter anyway, I will just turn your anthro in a quad character (no, you can't enter with a human!!)

Deadline: The deadline has been set on 15 January 2009. You have until that day to submit your entry. They must be in before midnight on the 15th, in your timezone! (I really don't care what your timezone is, I won't check until all timezones are 16 January anyway.)

Prices:
First price: 1 year subscription to DA, full digital art of your character, and of course your character featured in Feral's comic, probably almost every time. Plus you can throw ideas at me to your hearts content.
Second price: 3 month subscription to DA, simple digital art of your character, and your character gets a minor role in the comic, appearing a few times.
Third price: 1 month subscription to DA, small digital art of your character, and your character gets featured in one of the pages.
Special mention: small digital art of your character and your character gets featured in one of the pages.
For everyone: I will make colored sketches of all the characters that have been entered and put them together in 1 drawing!

Judging: Judge will be me... logically.
You will be judged on originality, and personality description (if it is a fun character, not your writing skills). The focus is on creativity, not artistic skills.

Entering: After you finished your entry, post it on DA and leave a comment on this journal, or send me a note (whichever you prefer) and I will add your entry to the list. (this means uploading it to your DA gallery, to avoid confusion)
